Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of business logic in the Finance and/or Pension Administration domain
- Understanding the needs of users
- Understanding of software development concepts
- Analyzing, prioritizing and managing requirements
- Creating and validating detailed and functional specifications
- Creating conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
- Monitoring software development process to ensure the quality of the final product
Expected software skills:
- MS Access, Excel, Word proficiency
- Relational databases proficiency (preferred Microsoft SQL Server)
- Experience in use of bug tracking tool such as JIRA, Bugzilla and Gemini
Required qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- High interest and high ability to understand/learn our business logic (Finance / CRM / Pension administration)
- Good verbal and written English language
- Good communication skills, ability to think and express in clear and precise manner
- Detail-oriented and ability at anticipating user behavior
- Serious and service oriented attitude
- Ability to be self-motivated, and to provide high quality work results and autonomous thinking without constant supervision
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy, in a perspective of a global software product vision
- Ability to create structured specification/documentation
- Ability to work within a functional team
- Ability to learn new technologies or tools fast
Skills that would be considered an advantage:
- Previous experience in business information systems, and/or CRM applications
- 1+ years of experience as a software quality assurance engineer or a business analyst
- Experience in design, implementation and maintenance of relational databases (preferred Microsoft SQL Server)
- Knowledge of German language
