Software Engineer / Project Assistant

The software development and support unit of CHF International/Global Communities, based in Belgrade, seeks an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join its team in the position of Software Engineer/Project Assistant. The successful candidate would work in the design, creation, enhancements and maintenance of finance software systems, used to support the organization’s international operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting Senior Software Engineers in: designing, structuring, modification, testing and maintenance of software;
- Maintaining the system of internal program reporting and providing technical support to the users;
- Writing technical documentation on implemented software.
- Assistance to other team members in answering questions and problems related to technical support;
- providing services and support to clients, partners and employees;
- writing handbooks for the use of software (documentation management);
- cooperation with users and mediation between the user and programmer;
- studying the user’s needs, specifications of demands and development of software solutions;
- other duties delegated by the Director or Supervisor
Required skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science or relevant university degree
- Proven and Extensive experience (3-5 years) developing applications using .NET technologies, specifically ASP.net and C#
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Solid Database/Back end development skills. Experience using SQL server Stored Procedures or Oracle
- Web development skills including HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, Ext.net, AJAX and other related web technologies.
Desirable skills:
- Experience in developing SAAS solutions
- Experience with developing financial systems
- Experience with database administration
- Experience with system architecture design
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
