Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)
Remote
What is your role?
As a Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps Engineer – yes, we know, not an actual thing; still a somehow widely used term – you will work with other engineers to ensure our no-code platform is running smoothly in production and other relevant environments. You will be part of our remote-first, cross-functional Product Development team consisting of product managers, designers, testers and developers.
Our highly-available platform runs on AWS and uses several of their services, such as RDS, ELB, SES, EKS, ECR, S3 to name only a few. We practice infrastructure as code with the help of Terraform, Packer and some Ansible, sprinkled here and there. Other tools and products, such as, Docker, Kubernetes, Ubuntu and Amazon Linux are also in use throughout our infrastructure, which is characterized by an extremely high degree of automation.
We pride ourselves in being both enterprise-ready and cloud native. In doing so, we take advantage of the power and versatility that comes with the cloud native paradigm. But we are also customer-focused and provide our service in a way that works best for our customers.
As part of your role, we’d really like your help introducing multi-tenancy on an infrastructure level as well as multi-cloud deployments, running multiple instances of our platform on AWS and Azure.
What profile are we looking for?
You should have some experience maintaining cloud-based applications in production. Experience with any of the above mentioned tools is a plus, but not a requirement.
We love working with people who are eager to learn, so please do apply even if you haven’t worked with our choice of technologies and systems before. We are open to all kinds of experience levels.
We are also looking for people who want to grow with us. Whether you are looking to solidify your infrastructure engineering knowledge or are a seasoned expert looking to share your knowledge and mentor others, we would welcome your application.
