Consultant / Business Analyst

Belgrade

The successful candidates will join our 60+ team of highly skilled professionals at Selerant, Belgrade office, reporting to the Solution Management team.

Job Requirements

Planning & Management

• Collecting, understanding, and transmitting business requirements for project(s) and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans
• Identifying, modeling and managing processes, data, business rules and test requirements
• Analyzing and documenting business processes
• Documenting workflows and business analyses results, and obtaining client sign-off on specifications
• Providing the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle
• Being involved in design of test scenarios and test scripts
• Create and manage the required Project Documentation, including Project Charter, Project Plan, Effort Tracking Report, etc

Requirements Lifecycle Management

• Working with the Product Owner and other, clearly understand and document the customer requirements, and associated business processes and behaviors
• On an as-needed basis, liaise and work with business end users and the Sales / Professional
• Services teams to fully elucidate business needs and use cases
• Refine and fully document detailed user requirements within Microsoft TFS and provide clarity and support on these requirements for the Development / QA teams

Qualifications

• Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams.
• Good experience in business analysis techniques, preferably with UML knowledge, and requirements definition and management.
• A well-balanced business/technical background:
• Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
• Ability to work in collaboration with the Product Owners and collaborate with customers to provide solutions of high business value
• Educated to degree level in Computer Sciences or similar
• Ideally, the job holder will have some professional qualifications in Project Management (e.g. PMP) and/or Business Analysis (e.g. ISEB) a plus.

• Good oral and written communications skills in English and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
• Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools, including Microsoft TFS, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and all Office Tools
• Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
• Willing to travel abroad
