Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Cybersecurity, the Cyber Operations Engineer is responsible for identifying, collecting, reviewing, analyzing and performing day to day activities that contribute to delivering a safe, secure and compliant IT environment. The Cyber Operations Engineer is a professional, with a passion for technology. A proactive self-starter who can help contribute to a team of Security Operations responsible for efforts that improve SNAP ONE security posture. An innovative execution focused collaborator who understands how to leverage technology to deliver on security-based initiatives and provide thoughtful remediation of alerts and events within the environment.
Specific Responsibilities
- Participate in Cyber Security risk vulnerability management and mitigation activities.
- Contribute to the delivery of security initiatives including Proactive monitoring, alert remediation, tools support, maintenance and continuous improvement.
- A trusted colleague who collaborates with the Cyber Security team, senior management and leaders across the company to prioritize delivery of security initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with other technology towers to help implement, support and monitor security controls. Proactively identify risks and collaborate in delivering successfully on security solutions across all systems.
- Work with Enterprise IT and Cyber Security tools to measure and deliver on security baselines. Align and ensure all deliverables comply with SNAP ONE Cyber Security Standards and Policies.
- Responsible for vulnerability management and remediation, owning and driving the company’s information security process, relating to corporate infrastructure security, regulatory compliance, and audits.
- Contribute to executive dashboards and reports for the management team
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Information Security and IT Operations experience
- Solid familiarity with Microsoft Technology solutions, including Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Experience in delivering solutions to IT security initiatives (Email, Network, Applications, Services) across multi-platform infrastructure technologies and Azure Cloud
- Ability to assess, review, communicate and contribute to Cyber Security engagements responsible for delivering a World Class global, sustainable, and scalable IT infrastructure environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in scripting/automation with Powershell.
- MCSE, CompTIA Security +, CompTIA Network+ certifications
- Azure security-related certifications
