Database Developer
based in our Serbia office (Belgrade)
Euronet Worldwide is seeking a Database Developer with at least 2 years of experience with database development utilizing MS SQL databases. This individual will work as a member of the Global Development (GDT) Team located in Serbia, and will be responsible for designing, building and validating the next generation of Backoffice applications for Euronet EFT.
Job responsibilities will include:
- Database development – procedure/function coding, documenting, QA testing support/resolution, code optimization
- Production Installation and ongoing maintenance/enhancements of production deployed applications
- Work directly with clients to gather custom requirements and provide product training
Requirements:
- College or University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Minimum 2 years working in development role
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Transact-SQL
- Excellent knowledge of the following development environments:
- Microsoft Management Studio 2005 – 2014
- Microsoft Management Studio Profiler 2005 – 2014
- TFS
- Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
- Project and time management skills
- Passion for quality, performance and reliability
- Fluency in English both verbal and written
- Strong problem solving and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Advantage:
- Experience in ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience in interacting with foreign, remote software engineers
- Experience in Software design
- Experience in ATM management, Cash management, and/or transaction reconciliation
