Our Swiss partner Knowledge Lab is a consulting, software development and data science company founded in 2016. While Switzerland remains the focus of the Zurich-based company, the firm is currently extending its service provisioning to banking customers across Europe.
The key to this success is the company’s interdisciplinary and highly experienced team of around 20 staff that continuously develop novel solutions at the forefront of bank transformation and constantly research and implement new approaches and IT ideas in its own laboratory.
Due to strong growth and market potential, Knowledge Lab is building in its own 15-member team in Belgrade which will be fully integrated with the Zurich-based team. To this end we are looking for a DevOps Engineer/Consultant
As a DevOps Engineer/Consultant, you support our customers in building tools and platforms that facilitate and automate the creation, deployment, and iteration of software platforms. On the other hand, you will perform security assessments and help project stakeholders implement security aspects as integral components of the DevOps process.
You may have the competence of a solution architect or would like to build it up with us. You share your knowledge, both internally and with our customers, and the willingness to represent yourself as a subject matter expert rounds up your profile.

What we value:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong analytical skills
- Extensive experience with microservice infrastructures and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure DevOps)
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
- Hands-on experience with *nix toolset (i.e. Shell Scripting, Network Tools)
- Expertise in using CI/CD tools to automate deployment and testing (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo), scripting, API/API management
- Fluent business English
- Deep understanding of the technology stack
Nice to have:
- Domain-specific continuing education, CISSP, RedHat certificates
- Concepts of Application Integration with e.g. SSO, SAML, 2FA
- German language
- Mastering of security concepts (ISO-OSI Network Model, PKI, TLS, Firewalling etc.)
- Strong experience with IAM and WAF platforms or respective certification
- Experience with vulnerability assessment systems such as Darktrace
