The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of the Logistics Learning Support Officer.
The successful applicant will carry out tasks related primarily to independently developing, supporting and maintaining e-learning training modules, as well as providing assistance to other ad-hoc activities in the area of capacity building in the Logistics Division.

MAIN TASKS
- Design, develop, and pilot a number of e-learning modules in subjects related to the Supply Chain Management and ORACLE/JD Edwards ERP, Support the conversion of the ORACLE’s User Productivity Kits (UPKs) into a new platform.
- Suggest innovative and creative designs for the e-learning modules.
- Provide necessary support in the process of collecting and developing required assets for the e-learning and other forms of training materials (feedback, contents, images, screen-captures, audio recordings).
- Collaborating with client’s subject matter experts to create e-learning storyboards and further translating them into an effective e-learning modules.
- Provide support in the process of optimizing internal knowledge management, in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.
- In coordination with ICRC’s Learning and Development Division, ensure the quality of e-learning modules is optimal and in line with ICRC’s Learning and Training principles, as well as the tools used in the process are utilized to their best capacity.
- Maintaining a clear plan of action, and when necessary, establish and coordinate working groups, which will provide relevant input to the e-learning modules.
- Pro-actively coordinate all the activities constituting the development and testing processes of developing and/or updating training and e-learning modules, and when required conduct a timely follow-up, to ensure the feedback/deliverables are submitted within the time-frame.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the area of e-learning development.
- A postgraduate qualification in Education, Multimedia, IT or equivalent.
- Proven experience (ideally backed by a portfolio of past projects) in using e-learning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and/or CrossKnowledge’s Mohive.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop (or GIMP)
- Understanding of LMS Platforms and SCORM formats.
- Excellent analytical, research, synthesis and IT skills.
- Excellent skill in developing and presenting e-learning storyboards.
- Team player with, strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills: English required; French is an asset.

- Responsive Web Design and HTML5 knowledge
- Project and stakeholder management skills,
- Proven experience working with business applications’ training or e-learning (i.e. ERP systems)
- Proven experience working with audio/video editing tools
- Strong interest for training, capacity building, e-learning, and/or supply chain management.
