We are hiring an Engineering Manager

Hybrid working model - Belgrade office

We are hiring an Engineering Manager to join us on Synechron Serbia journey, to help us grow and empower our teams & projects.

Responsibilities:

• Managing software development teams, ensuring project scope and timely delivery
• Act as the primary technical liaison for client
• Partner with client and delivery leads for timely and quality software delivery
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle
• Lead the team in developing robust applications
• Promote continuous improvement in code quality and project delivery
• Ensure project completion on time and within budget
• Serve as a people manager, fostering team growth, coaching on performance, and facilitating career development through regular one-on-one meetings

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of overall working experience
• Demonstrated managerial experience in software engineering
• Leadership experience – experience in managing multiple dev teams
• Experience in development of enterprise level software systems in Java
• Experience in working in state-of-the-art technical environments including Cloud, Microservices, stream-processing platforms
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design
• Computer Science/Engineering degree
• Problem-solving and algorithmic thinking
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client interaction skills
