Experienced Flutter Developer
Novi Sad
You will be part of the team working on a challenging and interesting project in an international setup and you will have the opportunity to work on modern web applications and services. We are looking for a Flutter developer with a positive, proactive attitude who is passionate about learning and improving expertise, based in our Novi Sad office. This position offers the opportunity to work on applications used by many users, as well as to work on new applications from the idea to the release. The team is empowered to choose, propose and implement the technologies and solutions they believe are best.
Project, teams, requirements & duties
What you will be working on?
- Manage the entire software development life cycle, including:Development of the source code, and code review
- Monitor, troubleshoot and debug issues
- Improve the application's performance, battery consumption, data usage, and other aspects
- Finding elegant solutions to hard technical problems
- Evaluating the best technical setup, choosing the right frameworks and tools
- Improve the build process to make deployment easier and faster
- Collaborate with the product owner to build new consumer feature
- Write tests to ensure stability and quality of the app
- Keep up to date with industry changes and incorporate modern technologies when appropriate
- Coach and mentor team, identify weaknesses in development processes and propose better solutions
What do we expect from you?
- 2+ years of professional experience in developing mobile applications
- Professional experience in Dart & Flutter
- Proficiency in object-oriented and test-driven software development
- Strong understating how REST Apis work
- Familiarity with agile software development
- Ability to work in a team that focuses on knowledge sharing, learning, and mentoring
- Good English communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can (and do) change from time to time
- Experience with both relational and non-relational databases
- Interest in developing your skill set to contribute across the technology stack
We are engaged in different applications for different clients. Our clients come from different domains such as health, finance, transport, advertising, entertainment etc.
Brief description of the apps (in Flutter):
Operating Room Assist — The surgical team can access guides, topics, instructions, surgical steps, surgeon's preferences, and other information they need to complete the procedure.
Commute Travel App — Provides access to public transport and many other services in the city. There is no need to wait in a queue to buy a ticket, use your mobile to pay for what you use.
Quiz App — Engage with community and promote the company. Play quiz specific to event, see how you are ranked compared to others.
Short Sound App — A sound platform app with a modern design. You can create, download, favorite, and share content between apps, and many other things!
Our projects & stack: We write unit tests and deliver high-quality software on a continuous basis using modern languages (Dart/Kotlin/Swift) supported by CI/CD pipelines. Our projects follow a standard setup with three separate environments for development and testing, user acceptance, and production. For distribution, we primarily use Firebase during development and testing and App Store/Play Store for production builds. We encourage contribution to open-source projects in accordance with our open-source initiative.
Our teams: Depending on the project, our teams consist of a mix of several mobile developers, test automation engineers, and a delivery manager (scrum master), while the product owner is client-side. We use Scrum as a framework for project management. We hold daily meetings where every team member is involved.
Your position in the organization: This position would be a part of one of our mobile departments in Novi Sad, and your department manager would be one of our senior mobile engineers. They would be there to help you and support your career development. You will coach and mentor other colleagues and help them grow.

All Niners have additional UNIQA private insurance - MedUniqa as soon as they join Levi9. This private insurance is fully paid by Levi9 and is renewed annually. Also, there is a possibility of additional insurance for a family member. Our insurance package covers 5.000 € costs. The Uniqa package also includes insurance against the consequences of an accident, 24 hours a day during the agreed duration of insurance, without territorial restrictions.
