Sourcefabric is a organisation that builds open source tools for media organisations all over the world. You will be a key member of the Sourcefabric UI/UX team. We are an international, friendly and enthusiastic team. We love open source and have years of experience contributing to it.

We are looking for a:
Front-End Developer
Your Duties
- Work in a team of Javascript and Python developers, QA engineers and designers, following agile methodologies, to deliver work on the agreed deadlines
- Use your Javascript and HTML/CSS skills to help implement new UI features and bring visual design mock-ups to life, while keeping the integrity of the original design
- Focus on code quality and testability
- Share your knowledge and good code practices with the rest of the team
- Continually improve technical processes to get us operating more efficiently
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience of Javascript development
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (Less or SASS)
- Experience (or strong desire) working with agile development projects, in particular Scrum
- Experience with GitHub-like development workflows using Pull Requests for peer review
- Good visual designs created in Photoshop, while keeping the integrity of the design
- Fluent English is a must
Additional Skills
- AngularJS skills are highly welcome
- Familiar with good engineering and clean code practices
- You are a team player and have a strong work ethic
