What you will do
You will join a team that's building out and defining an exciting and new area of BRYTER's product, that will change the way knowledge experts interact and work with sets of documents, such as contracts. Thus, together with us, you have a lot of freedom, and a lot of responsibility, to shape how the team is working technically and culturally.
Starting off, your responsibilities will include:
- extending the BRYTER no-code editor, so that users can work with the information-retrieval capabilities
- building out and improving the document-view which with which users interactively investigate information-retrieval results
- to communicate progress in context of feedback sessions to iteratively improve the product
- to work closely together with experts from other domains like data science, UX, design, Backend development
What we are looking for
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer who's experienced in building high-performance, cloud-based web-application. The goal of the team you'd be working in is enabling users to create custom-made information-retrieval algorithms on legal documents by providing annotated data. Due to the cross-domain nature of the topic we are working on, good communication skills, pragmatism, being solution-oriented, and dedication to intricate challenges are key competencies for this position.
Qualifications
For us, your most important skill is your capability to build trusting relationships, to allow for clear and meaningful communication. You are keen to understand and empathize with different cross-functional perspectives, yet you know how to make your case and argue well.
On the technical side: we are working with Typescript and VueJS. This means, we expect you're proficient in state-of-the-art web-development methodologies and languages, however, not necessarily in exactly this stack. You will extend the BRYTER core product with new and exciting functionalities that will cross various parts of the application. Thus experience with Backend development and cloud architectures is not mandatory but you should bring curiosity regarding those fields of expertise.
