The ICRC ICT division is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting ICT solutions for more than 10'000 of its employees worldwide. The Belgrade Shared Services Center (BSSC) is created to provide a 24x7 ICT support service to the ICRC worldwide operations.
The BSSC is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following position:
ICT System Engineer – Database Administrator
(Location Belgrade)
MAIN TASKS
- Ensures the ongoing management and smooth operations of the ICRC database infrastructure and the support to Application Administrators as well as the End-User as needed
- Provides continuous monitoring of the different databases in order to sustain operations, performance and security
- Ensures service quality, productivity and security, while respecting operating methods defined within the ICT
REQUIRED PROFILE
- Information Technology Engineer degree (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the IT field, with minimum 3 years of database administration
- Certification
- MCSA SQL Server (2008 or 2012) required
- ITIL certification (or equivalent experience)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Good knowledge and proven experience with Windows Server 2008 or 2012 platform, Windows 8 and Active Directory
- Excellent knowledge of MS-SQL Server, cluster Always-On and SQL language
- Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken) French is a plus
- Affinity for teamwork and strong collaborative attitude
- End-user service oriented, well-organized, open-minded and adaptable
- Motivated by the humanitarian work
- Able to work under pressure and manage crises with discernment
