IT / Help Desk Technician

About You.
You are IT/Help Desk Technician who will work within the fully integrated digital company where technology, design, content, media, and product specialists work together on great digital experiences. Through an interdisciplinary approach, you will be a part of a team that represents the mixture of top talents working in an Agile environment. Together with your team and clients you will create meaningful impact in the world of connected consumer. You will be responsible to install, maintain and repair computers and network equipment. As a technician you are the first point of contact with customers who have SLA contract with our company.
Required experience.
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or on a relevant position (at least 2-3 years)
- Experience of delivering support services within a formal Help Desk environment
- Experience of OS Administration (Windows and Linux)
- Experience in detecting and removing hardware failures
- Basic knowledge of computer networks

Responsibilities.
- Setting up workstations and laptop computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, wireless AP etc.)
- Installing and configuring appropriate OS (Windows and Linux), applications and functions according to specifications
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace computer parts, debugging etc.)
- Working with Jira ticketing system and provide the first level of support to customer with SLA contract
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
- Respond to questions from all e-mails and callers
- Become familiar with each client and their respective applications
- Become familiar with the Systems, Network, Database, Desktop Engineers, programmers, developers and each team in the IT Department
- You may have to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
