Role Summary
Magna will be implementing the Concur Travel Request & Expense system company-wide, for approximately 300 Corporate entities globally. This role will be instrumental in supporting, implementing, trouble-shooting, and further enhancing the use of Concur within Magna International. As this role matures, the position may be expanded to include all aspects pertaining to the implementation and support of Concur Travel booking.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding, promoting and demonstrating Magna’s philosophies, while abiding by the Magna Employee Charter
- Presenting overall Magna Concur landscape
- Training & Educating Users of Concur Expense usage according to Magna IT standard
- Leading interview process of onboarding Magna divisions
- Communicating & enhancing requirement definition of enrichment processes and interfaces, out of & into Concur, reimbursement of expenses and booking of transactions into financial system
- Managing onboarding tasks in relation to Concur
- Detailing future required changes (including documentation and procedures) for the change management team
- Defining audit rules
- Defining exception workflows
- Assigning/managing User security access within the application
- User logons
- Hierarchal positional definitions
- Importing & Enrichment process of Employees from Employee database to Concur
- Exporting of Accounting information to multiple Financial systems
- Exporting of Employee reimbursement information to multiple payroll systems
- Exporting of Travel request information to multiple further processing systems
- Defining and/or implementing of various BI Reports in support of Concur implementation
- Trouble shooting tickets/help desk
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to confidently interact with individuals at every level of the organization, as well as external vendors and provide classroom trainings for project teams
- Detailed knowledge of software design theory and current practices
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Knowledge of Concur Expense system and/or previous experience working in ERP/HR an asset
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes, understanding work flows
- Ability to work well independently, with minimal supervision, as well as, contribute in a team setting
- Consistently displays high attention-to-detail, ensuring accuracy
- Effectively able to use project management tools
- Maintains confidentiality when dealing with sensitive data
Knowledge and Education
- Business and process analysis experience
- Fluency in German, on a business or near-native level is an advantage
- Asset advantage if - 2+ years’ experience with software implementations, preferably with a focus on functional consulting
- Experience in a client-facing role
- Experience with financial applications or knowledge of accounting practices a plus
Work Experience
- 1 to 2 years of Project Implementation/Training Experience an asset
- Experience working directly with customers to resolve complex implementation issues an asset
