As part of the sourcing product team, you will be directly involved in the continuous development of a modern, innovative platform that relies heavily on Python scripting to collect various types of data content.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- The ability to problem-solve.
- Fundamental understanding of Python and its use cases.
- Fast learner with an ability to adapt techniques based on requirements.
- Knowledge of how to effectively test Python code.
- Great communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with libraries such as Beautiful Soup, Selenium, and other frameworks
If successful, your responsibilities will involve:
- Working with other developers and quality assurance testers
- Implementing Python code with assistance from senior developers.
- Writing effective test cases such as unit tests to ensure it is meeting the software design requirements.
- Ensuring Python code when executed is efficient and well written.
- Refactoring old Python code to ensure it follows modern principles.
- Liaising with stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Identifying and fixing code where bugs have been identified.
