Position Summary
Digital Arrow is seeking a Level designer to join our team and build amazing games together with us. We are a strong team who is pushing the industry forward in our region, and we are looking for future team members that will join our vision and work on amazing projects across the board. Responsibilities
- Create immersive levels and environments, following concept art and guidelines received from game designer(s), gameplay scripter(s) and other team members
- Work closely with other team members, give feedback on design and inputs received from them and collaborate in improving overall gameplay experience in all phases of development (from prototyping, iterating all the way to polish phase)
- Follow the established work pipelines, give time estimations, meet deadlines and maintain high quality bar for the created content
- Flag problems and potential issues in timely manner
Qualifications
- Passion for world level design
- Ability to create quick blockouts of ideas and concepts
- Good communication skills and ability to document and present ideas and concepts and improve on them based on the received feedback
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to production pipeline, workflows and toolsets
- Good self-organizing skills, ability to prioritize work and meet production deadlines
- High passion and work ethic, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment
- Attention to details and a love for the process
Pluses
- Shipped a game as Level Designer
- Proficient in a 3D Package (Max, Maya, Blender, etc.)
Required Experience
- Proficiency in UE4 or another similar game engine
- Substantial experience playing games (5 years and more)
- At least 1 year experience in Level Design for Games
