We are a Belgrade-based team creating products that evolve traditional approaches and enable the implementation of more sophisticated engineering processes in the different phases of clinical trials. Our team consists of experts working on the full life cycle of product development - from sparking the initial idea to business priority scoping, competition analysis, user testing, all leading to software design and development. Our key focus is building a new enterprise distributed platform and a new set of products, bringing innovation in the domain that will work as an ecosystem of well connected and integrated applications and microservices. The role of QA Manual Software Engineer in Test is responsible for developing and executing test strategy, test plans, write test cases, and perform manual testing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. This position will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts) while monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Duties and responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Give daily updates on test progress and identify blocking issues
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs Liaise with internal teams (e.g.developers and product owners) to identify system requirements
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Qualifications and competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field,
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black-box testing
- Experience with Atlassian development tools, i.e. Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
- Knowledge of SQL and scripting preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Be proficient in both spoken and written English
- Willingness to learn and embrace emerging technologies and new fields
- Ambitious, self-motivated, and enthusiastic person
