PHP DEVELOPER

ACME Software doo. is a software company, situated in Novi Sad, Miroslava Antica 7. Acme Software develops innovative desktop and mobile VoIP software products and solutions. We are looking for someone who is eager to take on new challenges, to grow within the team and to take part in building next generation mobile applications. The successful candidate will  be someone who is always thinking up ways that mobile apps can be improved, that care about great design and experience, have a good, competitive spirit, enjoy working in an agile and collaborative environment.

Technical requirements:

• At least 3 years of web application development with a focus on PHP MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Kohana, CodeIgniter, Slim
• Very good knowledge PHP, MySQL (or other SQL database) and with NoSQL databases (Mongo, Cassandra)
• Good knowledge of HTML5 / CSS
• Experience with client side Javascript (AJAX, JQuery, Angular), Bootstrap and RESTFull APIs
• Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development  
• A Developer who consistently delivers and keeps up to date on best practices/standards and programming methods and pattern designs.
• Agile methodologies ( Scrum, TDD)
• Fluent English is mandatory

Desirable Skills:

• At least 2 years+ experience
• Able to work alone or in a team environment
• Strong problem solving skill
• Participating in a team-oriented environment to develop complex web-based applications
• Passion for producing high quality code
• Converting business requirement into developed solutions
• Ensure front-end and back-end  development: code review, versioning, documentation and maintenance
