ProDevs is a fast growing software company headquartered in Belgrade, Serbia. We build web, desktop, and mobile applications for businesses, from small startups to large enterprises, and we’re looking for a motivated PHP developer to help us grow.

We are seeking a full-time, on-site PHP developer to manage existing web sites as well as modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications and components, working from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and to maintain documentation of process flow.

You should be capable of helping other team members with problems that need solutions. Last but certainly not least, you should be an individual with strong communication skills and have a desire to interact with both clients and the team member in a consistently positive manner.

Responsibilities

Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP code.
Work closely with the team members and the client to ensure architecturally compliant, on-time software delivery.
Stay up-to-date on new software, hardware, and open-source technologies.
Bridge the gap between user-friendly front-end design and existing back-end architectures.

Desired Qualifications

At least 1 year of relevant experience required
Experience with HTML5 and CSS3
PHP experience with MVC Frameworks, preferably Laravel
Solid knowledge in JavaScript (jQuery, AJAX, etc.)
Excellent database management, optimization for MySQL
Using APIs to consume and post data from/to REST and other services
Experience with the basics of linux-based server administration
Advanced knowledge of DNS setup and management
Solid understanding of standards and usability
Maintain project timelines and meet deadlines
