IO Global, developer of the Cardano blockchain platform, is looking for a Project Manager to join its Professional Services team. As part of the team you will work every day to apply blockchain technologies to solve emerging real problems. You will bridge the gap between real-life problems and tip-of-the-spear technology. Your mission
As a Project Manager you will manage the delivery of client engagements, such as solution implementation, workshops, consulting engagements, and the development of software enhancements or bug fixes. You will also have strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Duties will include:
- Lead the planning and implementation of front office projects
- Be the primary point of contact for the project team with clients and external stakeholders
- Work with the account general manager to ensure client satisfaction
- manage the expectations of internal and external stakeholders
- Act as an advocate for both the client and IOG
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full project plans
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Manage project budgets
- Assist with project resource allocation
- Assist with scheduling project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Work with the deployment engineer to define, implement and track quality assurance across the project
- Work with project stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional activity within IOG to ensure projects are delivered according to scope and on time
- Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders
- Collate and present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Schedule, chair and minute all weekly operational and stakeholder meetings
- Manage the RAID log (risks, actions, issues and dependencies; we use decisions), update with all project actions, coordinate with individuals and teams on the status of all items
- Contribute to and manage internal and strategic initiatives
- Coordinate with IOG project management on best practices and alignment with best practices.
Requirements
Your expertise
- Client-facing, front-office project management experience
- Enterprise project management
- Ability to set priorities and expectations
- Qualification in project management or equivalent
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Direct work experience in a project management capacity
- Proven experience in people management
- Proven experience in strategic planning
- Proven experience in risk management
- Proven experience in change management
- Proficient in project management software (Jira/Atlassian)
- Strong experience of delivering software projects
- Understanding of digital ledger technology is a plus
- Data-driven decision-maker
- Highly organized.
