Ideal candidate should have following abilities:
- University degree in organization, computers, informatics or electronics
- Good knowledge in project management methodology (waterfall and agile)
- Good knowledge in methodology application of IS
- Good knowledge of activities, procedures and legislation in public sector
- Good communication skills, flexibility and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in team-oriented project management environment
- Self-motivated and ability to learn from professional literature
- Ability to present information concisely and identify key issues clearly
- Analytical skills and creativity and innovative attitude
- Fluency in English
- 3+ years of proven project management experience
Project Manager responsibilities:
- Assists with the preparation of the Project Management Plan (PIP) and other key documents to support the project
- Assists with the creation of the Annual Project Plans (APPs) and schedules for the project and its components for the approval of the Director of Business Development and Director of Operations
- Assists with the development of the overall budget for the project as well as for project components and conducts budget reviews and analyses in conjunction with the Business Development Department and Operations
- Assists with the implementation of finance and accounting, records management, communications, feedback, monitoring and evaluation frameworks are effectively established to facilitate project start up and to support the project to completion under the direction of the Head of Project Management
- Establishment of sustainability and project exit strategies from the inception of the project
- Interfaces with project contractors, keeps track of their deliverables
- Interacts with and supports the project team members in the execution of the project components
- Prepares regular reports to assist the Head of Project Management to track the progress of project components to ensure schedules and deadlines are being met
- Identify project issues and possible solutions and bring them to the attention of the Head of Project Management for action
