We will rely on you, our QA Engineer, to assist the client support team in an effort to troubleshoot software applications, isolate the source of a problem and provide satisfactory resolution so that the application meets availability and quality standards.
For your team you will:
- Review product requirements documents and create a full test suite to ensure code conforms to the specification. Perform system testing and integration testing on software products.
- Review and identify gaps and deficiencies in technical specifications, designs and testing documentation for completeness and testability
- Analyze the DataBase documents to ensure the proper Data Mapping in the application
- Review historical, existing and ongoing bug reports to identify areas needing specific attention
- Record and document results as compared to expected results
- Assist in drafting quality assurance policies and procedures. Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
Now for some specifics:
- You have experience with various SQA methodologies (e.g. White-box and Black-box, System, Integration and Application testing) and software development processes (e.g. Agile/SCRUM)
- You have a solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- You have proven “eye for detail”
- You have the ability to communicate in English at an upper-intermediate level
- Knowledge or certification in QA automation tools is considered a tier A skill for the position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels through reports, presentations and forming effective relationships
- Coding background and familiarity with scripting is considered a strong plus
