BioSense Institute cross-fertilizes two vital sectors of today: ICT and agriculture. Job description:
- Design, development, and implementation of software components and systems for application in robotics.
- Navigation, obstacle detection and avoidance, micro-positioning.
- Usage of lidar, camera, IMU, custom-made sensors, and similar.
- Sensor fusion.
General requirements:
- Master’s or higher degree in Electrical, Computer or Robotic Engineering or similar areas.
- 5 years of work experience related to the job description in an academic or industrial setup. In exceptional cases, candidates with less experience will be considered.
- Ability and desire to learn new concepts and skills quickly in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent English.
Specific requirements:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in ROS and similar robotic platforms.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in C, C++, Python.
- Experience in the usage of robotic sensors like lidar, camera, IMU, and similar.
- Experience in robot navigation, orientation, and positioning.
