About the Role:
For this role, we are looking for an SEO specialist (project-based) who is passionate about developing and executing on-page and off-page SEO strategies for building and scaling web applications. An ideal candidate will care about executing SEO campaigns and strategy, and will do this as a member of a team, helping the group come up with solutions to balance performance, cost, and quality. We are looking for someone who can collaborate with the content team and other team-members to publish user-friendly, optimized content, supporting the SEO strategy.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and optimizing the website to increase company’s search engine results rankings
- Performing a competitive analysis of other companies in the industry
- Performing keyword research and optimizing site architecture
- Executing strategies for technical SEO, on-page, off-page optimization
- Develop measurable goals that demonstrate improvement
- Work with Product, Frontend, Data Engineering, and QA teams, helping the team respond quickly and effectively to business needs and build quality software
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of practical experience in strategizing, developing and executing SEO campaigns
- Strong Understanding of SEO principles, best practices and techniques, including on-page optimization, link building, keyword research, and analytics. Knowledge of Semantic SEO is a plus
- Experience with SEO Tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and others is important for conducting research, tracking performance, and optimizing websites
- Ability to analyze website data, create XML sitemaps, and conduct site audits to identify technical issues that may affect SEO
- Ability to optimize website content, including creating meta descriptions, title tags, header tags, and other on-page optimization tactics.Strong analytical skills to measure and track the success of SEO efforts and identify areas for improvement
- Communication Skills: They should be able to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to explain SEO concepts and strategies
- Familiarity or strong interest in learning our technologies: (Natural Language Generation) NLG content and Wagtail Content Management System
- Availability to overlap to U.S. time zones as needed
