The Security Architect/Engineer will establish the risk frameworks and security requirements for systems and processes. This is a leadership role responsible for planning, implementing and testing security systems, policies procedures and standards, along with mentoring others in IT and throughout the organization on security topics.
Responsibilities
- Lead, design, build and implement the development of an enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy for a production environment by determining security requirements with a thorough understanding of corporate strategies and requirements
- Conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments, identify gaps and propose solutions
- Supports internal and external audits of controls
- Monitor emerging security threats and determine mitigation strategies
- Follow internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function
Essential Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Information Security and/or IT risk management
- Background in IT security, systems administration or development
- Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- CISSP, CISM, Security+ or similar certification
- Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, SAP or Meraki technologies
- Experience with implementing frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001 or COBITPossess a results oriented, highly communicative, problem solving mindset with assertiveness, agility and solid organizational skills.
