We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Enterprise Architecture Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, and management of Magna’s enterprise architecture tools as well as our activities around IT / EA master data to enable decision making for strategic projects and activities. This role will work in cross-functional teams and will push the optimization of our IT landscape, enable innovation and ensure scalability of our solutions.
What would you be doing:
Business Capability Management:
- Be the champion of the BCM campaign
- Take responsibility for content and technical aspects of the BCM tool
- Own the roadmap and roll out of the EAM tool
Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the enterprise architecture management tool to facilitate documentation, visualization, and analysis of the organization's architecture landscape
- Configure the tool to capture architecture artifacts, solution designs, roadmaps, and other relevant data, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility
- Ensure alignment with business requirements and objectives
Management and Governance:
- Oversee day-to-day activities of Enterprise Architecture tools
- Ensure data accuracy, access control, and user permissions
- Identification of key “IT Master Data” elements to be tracked, and ensuring our tooling supports that in an effective way
- Define and enforce architectural governance processes to ensure adherence to established architectural standards, promoting consistency, reusability, and interoperability across the organization.
- Develop and enforce governance in collaboration with Magna groups
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and stakeholders to understand current and future business goals, technological advancements, and transformation initiatives
- Design BCM workflows to enable effective capability management
- Integration of EAM tooling with other systems to minimize duplicate data collection activity to maximize the value of EAM
Training and Support:
- Facilitate change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of the Enterprise Architecture framework and the EAM tool across the organization.
- Provide training and support to teams, enabling them to effectively utilize the architecture tool and adhere to established processes
- Develop training materials and documentation
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in capability management
- Streamline processes and enhance efficiency
- Increase value derived from the BCM tool
Vendor Management:
- Liaise with BCM tool vendor and monitor updates/features
- Manage vendor relationship and negotiate contracts
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports and analytics
- Provide insights on capability performance and utilization trends
- Ensuring effective survey processes in place for data collection around EA initiatives
- Identify gaps and/or risks and present findings to stakeholders
- Support reporting and analysis activity of our IT Master Data

What we would like for you to bring:
- Bachelor's degree in management information system related degree, information technology, or relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of Business Capability Management system administration/management experience
- Good understanding of manufacturing capabilities and related solutions (e.g. ERP, MES, LES)
- Proficiency in architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) and standards related to the automotive supplier domain; certifications (LeanIX, TOGAF) are a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership
- Solid understanding of solution architecture, integration patterns, and technology trends
