Softek has offices in Toronto, New York & London and an operational centre in Belgrade through its entity Fininfo doo.
We are seeking a full time Team Leader to join our Belgrade development centre. The successful candidate will work directly with our global development team to create, implement and customize Softek’s software products. They will manage the development team in Belgrade, reporting directly to company’s CTO and the head of Serbian entity. The candidate needs to have an in depth knowledge of object oriented programming, C, C#, .NET as well as SQL Server and a proven team leadership experience.
Excellent knowledge of English language, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as proactive approach to problem solving in a collaborative, entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
· Liaise with the company’s CTO on implementing the development standards within the Serbian team
· Train and lead Serbian technical team throughout the full development lifecycle including comprehensive testing and change management
· Be able to take part and resolve complex technical issues
· Be able to proactively communicate project statuses and issues to Senior management to ensure on-time project deliveries
· Meeting tight deadlines with a cool head
· Take responsibility for all the development work and ownership of quality control in Serbia
Skills and Requirements:
· Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or other technical discipline
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience with .NET and programming/scripting languages (C#, C++, VBA)
· Sound knowledge of relational databases and SQL
· Minimum of 2 years of team leadership
· Proven track record of delivery
· Proficient written and oral English language
· Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills
· Ability to travel
· Knowledge of finance and capital markets a plus
