We are hiring across all layers of the computational stack. Our engineering teams work in multi-disciplinary groups of computer scientists, electrical engineers, mathematicians and physicists; building complex products and services based on Dataflow computing in space.
A typical dataflow project combines high level and low level optimizations, analysis, algorithm design and architecture with implementation in C/C++, Java many other languages on range of Maxeler, Juniper, AWS and/or Hitachi multiscale Dataflow platforms.

We are looking for:
Senior FPGA / Hardware Engineer
Belgrade, Serbia (full time employment)
London, UK (full time employment)
Maxeler’s hardware team is responsible for designing our custom hardware platforms. Hardware engineers are responsible for our Multiscale Dataflow Computing systems and the MaxelerOS system of software libraries and on-chip IP such as memory controllers, bus controllers, etc that make Multiscale Dataflow computing a reality.
You will have experience in managing the design and delivery of complex systems from the early design stages to final installation in a production environment, interacting with key stakeholders and taking responsibility for delivery on time and within budget.
You will need a degree or equivalent professional qualification in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline and experience in digital circuit design, preferably using VHDL for FPGAs
You will have experience in some of the following:
- Multi-layer PCB design and debug with FPGAs
- High-speed digital design (e.g. QDR/DDR memory interfaces, PCI-Express, 10G Ethernet, Infiniband)
- Product design and test experience (e.g. EMC Compliance and Certification)
Additional experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Systems/device driver programming for Linux in C
- Knowledge of object-oriented software techniques in Java or C++
