Job title: Senior Network Automation Engineer
Office location: Serbia with Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
About the role and the Team:
Main tasks of this role are to integrate automation in network and optimize network management. Success would look like:
- Automated processes for network maintenance
- Network management platforms and automation tools integrated with other systems in an optimal way
- Efficient network management
- Minimal human errors in network operations
What will you be doing?
- Automation through Network Management PlatformsUse Network Management Platforms to optimize network management
- Develop Automation Using Scripting Languages and ToolsDevelop automation scripts based on Python and other scripting languages
- Develop automation based on automation tools (Ansible, Bash, etc.)
- Integration of Network Management Platforms and Automation Tools with Other SystemsIntegrate Network
- Management Platforms with other systems (OSS, diagnostic platforms etc.)
- Analyse and Identify Opportunities for Automation in Network and Operations TeamsUnderstand processes and procedures within Network Operation teams
- Translate manual workflows into designs for automated workflows
- Knowledge improvement and mentorship
What we are looking for:
- Engineering based degree ideally in Telecommunications or Computer Science - DESIRABLE
- Good understanding of IP/TCP, Ethernet technologies
- Previous experience in a telco environment role focused network automation
- Understanding scripting languages and tools (Python, Ansible etc.)
- Understanding of data serialization formats like JSON, YAML, XML
- Good knowledge and experience with NETCONF and RESTCONF protocols
- Experience with RESTful API
