Senior Python Developer

We’re hiring a Senior Python Developer (Full-time).

What you are going to work on: 

Join a professional team of software engineers supporting the operations of a successful hedge fund business. You’ll be working on front-office projects in the areas of pricing, analytics, and risk.  

Your responsibilities: 

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code 
• Maintain and optimize existing code 
• Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks 
• Collaborate in regular code reviews, providing and receiving feedback 

Required qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or related field 
• 5+ years of experience in software development, primarily in Python 
• Strong knowledge of modern Python (3.x) 
• Strong grasp of OOP and design patterns 
• Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) 
• Familiarity with testing libraries (e.g., pytest, unittest) 
• Proficiency with version control tools like Git 
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills 
• Exposure to financial systems or fintech a plus
