Senior Software Engineer (C++)

Job description

• Implement efficient algorithms for parsing, mapping and managing messages
• Programming and further development of the graphical user interface
• Development of ideas for product improvement
• Implementation of bug fixes and updates
• Tests and documentation
• Set-up of systems on-site at clients offices as well as specification of adaptations

Required Skills

• University degree (i.e. computer science, software engineering, business informatics)
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development – ideally in the financial services industry
• C++ and Unix development
• Understanding of messaging patterns
• Basic understanding and willingness to become proficient in Java
• Creative problem-solving abilities
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Understanding concepts of agile methodologies
• Interest in blockchain and other distributed ledger technologies
• Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written)
