We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team of developers. All of our products are developed in-house and your contribution will enable us to take them to the next level. Some of the key tasks you will work on: establishing project architecture in line with the design patterns, optimization of game performance, implementing new tools that will align our existing flow with best engineering practices. Your work will be of key importance to support our Monetization process and our Game Design and Product teams in building the best product out there, loved by millions of players around the world.
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Be a part of the game development team and own game features from start to finish;
- Work independently on new and existing game functionalities;
- Write modular, abstract code in order to enable reusability and a strong system architecture;
- Be involved with hiring for the team and the company, and maintain a high bar for hiring quality candidates;
- Make time estimates to complete tasks and participate in planning time to create assignments;
- Divide larger tasks into smaller units and disambiguate ambiguous problem statements in order to properly scope projects and enable their optimal execution;
- Find more serious bugs and vulnerabilities in the code;
- Participate in and shape development processes;
- Design and develop systems appropriate to scale, extensibility, and scope of the problem, avoiding over-engineering;
- Design and work with databases;
- Work with application distribution platforms, analytics platforms, monetization;
- Start the build process and submit applications to distribution platforms;
- Track metrics on distribution platforms, track release status, respond to changes, and resolve issues;
- Independent problem solving in the build process, diagnosing and solving application problems on devices outside the development environment;
- Design, document and present new systems;
- Identify risks in development in order to enable their timely communication and design;
- Work on system architecture and application of appropriate design patterns in code development.
Desired skills and experiences:
- 5+ years in Object oriented programming;
- Experience with C# and Unity programming, as well as advanced knowledge of Unity team workflow and integration pipeline;
- Experience in client/server architecture and web services;
- Experience in working with SQL and NoSQL databases;
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
- Proficient at Mobile Operating Systems: Android, iOS and others with an advanced understanding of the multiplatform challenges;
- Working well in a team environment;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
