We are looking for a motivated skilled individual to fill the Senior Support & QA Engineer position.
Job description:
Senior Support & QA Engineer is responsible for organization and coordination of activities with support/QA team and stakeholders.
Support & QA team is responsible for handling all forms of communications via phone, email, and ticketing system and performing interventions upon customer request.
This includes also technical support for testing application – preparing and organizing testing activities, configuration and deployment application, implementation reports on customer demand.
Through communication with customers, the support team analyzes client needs and gives suggestions for software improvement.
Required skills and knowledge:
- Understanding of data modeling and work experience with MS SQL
- Experience and knowledge of testing methodologies and testing tools is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a short time
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface effectively with clients
- Strong organizational skills
- Team oriented and customer focused
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Communication with customers via phone, email and ticketing system
- Organization of support/QA team
- Daily customer support in their work
- Technical support for customer request
- Prepare, communicate and implement test strategy and plans based on project plans, vision, and requirements
- Coordinate testing activities and overall quality of delivery, and communicate status with team and stakeholders
- Participate in requirements analysis, clarification and verification with customers
- Maintaining test environments and deploying releases and patches
- Configuration and deployment of production environments
- Implementation reports on customer demand
- End users training in the field and presentation of solutions
- Maintaining user documentation
