The Senior ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for the architecture, development, administration, and rollout of solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will work with internal customers and other Developers to architect, design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes needed to support the enterprise.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the development and configuration of a variety of areas including, but not limited to Employee Center, Service Portal, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Release / SDLC, Asset Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Idea, Demand, Project, Timecards, Mobility, Workspace, Virtual Agent, Integration Hub, Reporting and Performance Analytics.
Collaborate with a global team to scope and design solutions for documented business and technical needs, with an emphasis on / preference for minimizing customization.
Architect technical solutions to address complex requirements. Evaluate alternate solutions, identify the best option, and implement the solution.
Design, develop and configure workflows, forms, and scripts.
Lead ServiceNow version upgrades.
Lead the evaluation and rollout of new applications and solutions in ServiceNow.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and remedy identified system issues.
Provide on-call support if Production issues occur
6+ years of ServiceNow development / implementation / administrative experience
Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Application Suite covering ITSM, ITBM/SPM, HRSD areas
Strong experience integrating internal and external (SaaS based) applications using RESTful APIs
Knowledge of ITIL concepts
Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand complex business needs and adapt appropriately
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies applicable to the ServiceNow platform
