We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join our team.
What we expect from you:
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of one of the script languages (such as Bash, Python)
- Monitoring, maintaining and resolving problems in development, test and productive environments with real-time web access and synchronous (Rest, GraphQL) and asynchronous processing (e.g., MapReduce model)
- Implementation of security updates and proactive action to ensure the security of data and systems, their updating and optimization to meet the project’s requirements and client requirements at all times
- Update without interruption (during the process of updating to newer versions)
- Automated deployment and configuration of “farm” servers (Puppet, Ansible)
- Provide and manage cloud replications and data backups
- Planning, installation and maintenance of monitoring and monitoring systems (Nagios, Ganglia, Icigna, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana/ELK)
- Overview and analysis of logs
- Harmonize the environment to ensure DR/BCP and system recovery processes due to unplanned circumstances
- Monitoring and timely/proactive response to problems in productive environments. Possible team membership for 24×7 system monitoring.
- Working with the Linux operating system. (Command console) and virtualization software (kvm, xem), OS containers such as Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Supporting the development team in ci/CD (continuous integration and development) processes by comparing tools such as Jenkins and GitlabCI
- Working with assigned/bare metal (dedicated) and cloud servers
- Working closely with infrastructure teams and QA, working with databases to ensure high performance and availability according to the standards
- Writing and maintaining installation documentation and documentation with operational procedures and registered problems (e.g., in Confluence/Jira).
