If you are a motivated and driven Software Test Automation Engineer with experience in developing automated test procedures, both in-house and at a customer’s site, this is the perfect position for you.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the project team of engineers involved in the creation of the specification, design and testing of the new software features.
- Create tests according to the feature specification – tests are created by using Typhoon HIL’s API and testing tools.
- Create test plans for the new software features.
- Perform system level tests and analyze results. Debug and locate the potential problems and assign developers for the problem fixing.
- Provide possible recommendations for the problem solving.
- Recommend and propose improvements of our testing tools.
Skills and qualifications:
- Software or Electrical Engineering background.
- Previous work experience in any programming language, preferably Python and C#.
- Experience and understanding concepts of the automated testing and desktop applications.
- User centric mindset.
- Engineering background.
- Knowledge of PyTest framework is a plus.
- Advanced level of the English language.
