System Administrator

Key Qualifications:
- Educated to at least first degree level in Computer-Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Mechanical engineering or Technology
- At least 2 years working experience on similar position in mixed Linux/Windows environment
- A working knowledge of Windows 2003 upwards
- Familiarity with Redhat / Centos / Oracle Enterprise Linux.
- Familiarity with VMWare
- Windows DNS and Bind Experience
- A good understanding of Windows clustering
- A good working knowledge of Application Servers – File/Print/Mail/DNS/NTP/DHCP/Antivirus.
- Microsoft Active Directory Experience.
Desirable:
- Load Balancers
- Apache and IIS Webservers
- Bash/Powershell scripting
Interpersonal skills:
- Excellent English, written and spoken skills is must
- Strong analytical skills
- Multitasking work, with more critical issues at same moment, ordering by priorities and escalation of critical
- Demonstrated ability to work calmly and methodically under pressure, when diagnosing and escalating problems
- Proactive attitude toward problems
- Demonstrated motivation, flexibility, dynamic, ambitious and ‘can do’ attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to follow simple procedures in writing or verbally; good phone skills
- Excellent team player

- Keeping high standards in work
- Previous experience within the online sector highly desirable.
Your Responsibilities:
- Providing service on 40h work week basis (shifts including overnight hours, weekend and public holidays)
- Work in shifts on Service desk together with S.D. operators
- Follow procedures and processes for monitoring systems and basic system administration tasks across all environments according to the role description.
- Provide technical support on a 24x7 rotation basis for IT production systems.
