Summary
The TechOps Program Manager position is responsible for ensuring TechOps deliverables are completed in a consistent fashion based on project plans and expectations across TeleSign organizations. They will have excellent communication skills and ensure projects are planned, assigned, and executed to meet the business needs. This individual will be responsible for working with TechOps Operational Excellence Team, TechOps Management, and Leads to ensure staff is scheduled effectively and efficiently, supporting a balanced schedule internal to teams and cross team. They will also be responsible for communication and documentation that identifies and highlights critical tasks, possible impacts to scheduled activities, and adjust schedules accordingly. They will also be expected to develop an understanding of key applications, the relationship to the infrastructure, and the association between application components to the product. Experience in a fast-paced environment is a must with the demonstrated ability of flexibility, creativity, and dedication to meeting operational and company needs.
Essential Functions:
- Manage TechOps projects and initiatives in JIRA, including ensuring requirements, priorities, and dependencies are identified and clear while working with management on resource assignments.
- Develop JIRA dashboards, workflows, and reporting in support of operation process, procedure, and excellence.
- Identify new activities to institute a continuous improvement within TechOps that can be measured by the TechOps KPIs.
- Coordinate projects involving multiple teams and TechOps.
- Represent TechOps in key Development Agile Life Cycle activities (Task Grooming, Sprint Planning/Reviews) with engineering.
- Oversee the operational service calendar to document activities and events which positively or negatively impact TeleSign’s services.
- Manage documentation related to TechOps processes, procedures, and effective communication across the company.
- Represent TechOps in companywide presentations outlying TechOps work and contributions.
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years Project Management, preferably in an TechOps organization.
- Working knowledge and experience with Atlassian Products (JIRA, Confluence, etc).
- 2+ years of experience with JIRA is highly desirable.
- Experience with the Agile Development Lifecycle.
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills with all levels of the TeleSign organization.
- Highly organized and able to deal with a dynamic changing environment.
- Experience in a Cloud Services business is highly desirable.
