Web Developer

Office Location: Niš, Serbia

Office hours: 8-hour workday with flexible hours

We are looking for a talented and motivated Web Developer to strengthen our team in Niš in order to increase the speed and quality of our websites.

Important note: It is necessary to reside in or near the city of Niš to qualify for this position, since the work takes place in Niš. No admissions for remote work will be considered.

You:

It is crucial that you love what you do, that you are curious and experimental in relation to the things you are good at and also think it's exciting to familiarise and educate yourself on the topics you still don’t master. You are not afraid to ask, but at the same time you are able to work independently, structured and focused on your tasks. You can understand and use English language in a working environment with ease. You preferably have a few years of agency experience.

The tasks:

As a Web Developer in our Team in Niš, you will be a part of a young, skilled and very ambitious team. You will be expected to ensure a high level of quality in our deliveries. You will be challenged and can expect a wide variety in assignments, but also some routine tasks. You will be coding and modifying across our vast portfolio of websites, whether it is theme or plugin development and this in collaboration with skilled developers, designers, SEO managers, site / project managers etc.

You need to have hands-on experience with:

• HTML5/CSS3/SASS/PHP/MySQL/JavaScript/jQuery/ES6
• OOP, MVC
• Versioning control through Git
• Node, Gulp, Grunt
• WordPress theme & plugin development
• CSS Bootstrap / Responsive development

Apart from that, it would be a plus, but not a requirement, if you know:

• Server management / Hosting platforms
• A/B Testing / Troubleshooting
• PageSpeed optimization
• Advanced Custom Fields
• ReactJS
• Gutenberg blocks development
• Vagrant

Responsibilities:

• Setup and configuration of WordPress websites
• WordPress theme & plugin development
• Optimisation and maintenance of websites
• All sorts of WordPress-related troubleshooting
