We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team at our Novi Sad office.
Your Mission:
- Developing comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of software functionality, and executing these plans to ensure that the software meets quality standards
- Responsible for conducting regression testing to ensure that software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality
- Identifying and reporting defects or issues that arise during testing, and working collaboratively with developers to ensure that these issues are resolved
- Creating and managing automated test scripts using programming languages like C#, Python, and Java and utilizing tools like TestComplete
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation frameworks, test processes, and best practices
- Develop and document guidelines and standards for test case design, automation code structure, and test data management
- Assist with Integrating automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline, ensuring smooth and reliable execution and reporting
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that software changes are adequately tested and meet quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, such as identifying areas for improvement in the testing process, developing new testing methodologies, or implementing new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Junior QAs, helping to develop their skills and supporting their professional growth
Your Story:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on designing and developing automation frameworks
- In-depth knowledge of automation testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C#, and experience with related automation tools and libraries
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies
- Have the ISTQB foundation-level certificate
- Have enthusiasm for testing hardware and software solutions
- Think out of the box and can consider the big picture, when generating testing ideas
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Think it is crucial to work in a team of responsible, supportive, and highly professional people
- Work in a transparent manner
- B2 English level (upper intermediate)
