What do we need
We are looking for a QA Engineer that has theoretical knowledge about software testing, experience writing test cases, their execution, and finding defects using appropriate tools (Google spreadsheets, our management tool, and dev tools), and is a detail-oriented person.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test scenarios, cases, and data that cover business and technical requirements.
- Create and review test documentation and keep it up to date.
- Review and validate requirements and technical specifications.
- Creating a test plan document that covers all product use cases.
- Using tools and techniques to execute test cases.
- Performing multiple types of testing such as black-box, functional, non-functional, smoke, cross-browser testing, and regression.
- Experience using cloud web and mobile testing platforms (Browser-stack or similar)
- Web application testing.
- Working with data sets.
- Ensuring stability and performance of the production.
- Estimating the time required to complete tasks.
- Follow through from detection, documenting, reporting, fixing and re-testing, and closing.
- Using apps like Slack, Trello, and Google Spreadsheets to complete daily tasks.
- Collaborating with other teams to deliver high-quality features and content.
- Participating in all elements of Agile process.
- Monitoring production while making changes.
Requirements
- Good English written and verbal communication skills.
- 1 or more years of experience in manual testing.
- Experience in mobile testing is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of testing concepts and practices.
- Independence in solving daily tasks.
- Great attention to detail and well-organized work habits.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Experience with browser developer tools.
- In office work.
