What you'll do
As a member of the Global Services Unit, QA Engineer is responsible to oversee the entire development process and develop and execute tests to ensure product quality. QA team member works closely with product management, project management, and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
Also, as Devtech is focused on learning and development, you will be expected to participate in company-wide efforts and promote security, quality, and knowledge-sharing culture across the company. In this position, you will report to your engineering team lead.
What you'll do
- Create test plans that will be useful for developers who will write end-to-end tests in Cucumber;
- Perform UI and API testing;
- Document in a clear and detailed way any issue found;
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing;
- Work closely and communicate effectively with developers and other QA engineers;
- Perform other QA activities as necessary.
What you'll need
- 2+ years of software testing experience;
- Familiarity with API testing (Insomnia or Postman is desired);
- Good understanding of software architecture;
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence;
- Experience with stack deployment (basics knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes).
