Application Development Engineer – C#

We have partnered with a customer-oriented and agile technology company specialized in delivering products and services to industrial customers, in the domain of the Industrial Internet of Things, and we are looking for a motivated candidate for the position of Application Development Engineer – C# to join their development team in Niš.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including module design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including other developers, business analysts, and project managers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code, following established coding standards and best practices.
• Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure the team's codebase consistency.
• Identifying and addressing software-related issues and bugs, troubleshooting and debugging applications as needed.
• Working with databases and integrating data storage solutions.
• Documenting and maintaining software functionality, specifications, and architecture.

Position Requirements:

• 3 + years of working experience in C#
• Working experience in Windows Operating Systems
• Specific Technology Proficiency: Apache Kafka, Docker platform, Kubernetes, Microservices development, CI/CD software development.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Optional (Future) Requirements:

• Specific Technology Proficiency: InfluxDB
• Working experience in Linux Operating Systems (Ubuntu, Debian, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
