CP Development is searching for an experienced, detail-oriented SEO Content Writer to join a successful content agency and help us create high-quality content that ranks.
Your primary responsibility will be to create informative and engaging technology related articles that provide high value to our target audience and consistently achieve high SERP rankings. Each article will be focused on solving a problem with a specific hardware device, making it work with Windows, Mac, or Linux. Usually it will be about finding correct drivers, but also about firmware updates and other types of issues. You must have a broad knowledge on computer maintenance. Each problem should be researched online - you don’t have to yourself figure out solutions, but you have to be able to judge intuitively if the solution you found online is good enough to be the bases of your article.
You must have solid knowledge of core SEO principles and the ability to seamlessly incorporate keywords and keyword variations into your articles. As an SEO Content Writer at CP Development, you will work as a member of our content team, and will be expected to collaborate with our editors and implement their feedback and suggestions in your articles.
Apart from applying SEO best practices to your articles, you’ll be required to follow our internal linking guidelines and think about internal linking opportunities in your content. This means you’ll be expected to contextually include mandatory internal links provided in your content brief, as well as find opportunities to link to other articles in the content series, where appropriate.
To excel in the role, you must have an excellent grip on English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style. In-depth knowledge of current SEO practices is obligatory.
Our ultimate goal is to produce high-quality content that will consistently rank high on Google and will reliably generate organic traffic to our brand/clients.
Responsibilities
- Creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content for both [Company Name] and our external clients
- Delivering 10 articles, 600+ words each, of written content per day, that is factually accurate, informative, engaging, and free of grammatical errors
- Writing should be assisted by ChatGPT, modified to contain solutions to the problems, so familiarity with using ChatGPT prompts is a must. Solutions found online could be rephrased using ChatGPT. Each fact produced by ChatGPT (such as product descriptions) should be verified manually
- Implementing feedback and suggestions from our editorial team
- Adhering to our internal linking guidelines and contextually including mandatory internal links from content briefs into your articles
- Attending weekly team meetings
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with SEO and content writing
- Portfolio of your best content
- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of written English
- Solid knowledge of core SEO principles (keywords and keyword variations, keyword stuffing, internal linking, etc.) and the ability to apply them to written content
