We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join an interesting biotech project. You'll be working with cross-functional teams including data scientists, biomedical researchers, and software engineers to develop cutting-edge ML solutions for biomedical imaging analysis.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize state-of-the-art ML models and algorithms to address complex Computer Vision problems.
- Utilize Python programming language, PyTorch framework, and AWS cloud services to develop scalable and efficient ML pipelines for processing large-scale biomedical imaging datasets.
- Conduct thorough experimentation and evaluation of ML models, leveraging techniques such as cross-validation and hyperparameter tuning to optimize model performance.
- Deploy ML models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability while adhering to best practices for software development and ML engineering.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ML, Computer Vision, and biomedical imaging research, and incorporate relevant techniques and methodologies into our development process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in developing and deploying ML solutions, with a focus on Computer Vision applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language and experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, particularly in the context of Computer Vision tasks.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS, and familiarity with deploying ML models in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to address complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in the domain of biomedical imaging or healthcare-related applications.
- Familiarity with additional ML frameworks and libraries such as sci-kit-learn, Keras, or OpenCV.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, code review, and testing methodologies.
