We are seeking a Cloud and Kubernetes Lead to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our cloud-based applications and services.

YOUR TASKS
Team Leadership and Team Development
- Manage team resources on an operational level (vacations, time compensation, time sheets, etc.) and balance with business needs.
- Ensure knowledge transfer to / between related team members and ensure continuous development team members.
- Recruiting of new team members.
- Represent Team needs to other departments.
Problem Solving and Incident Management
- Ensuring proper ticket handling and responsiveness
- Proactive escalation management
- Support for Second Level Teams
- Close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders
- Organization and supervision of 24x7 Standby Shifts
Organization & Administration
- Participation in relevant regular meetings (e.g. CAB, TAB, IT Management meetings
- Close collaboration within the IT Leading Team
- Handling of related procurements, contracts, suppliers and partners
- Budgeting, Cost Controlling and Reporting in cooperation with Head of IT Engineering and BRM team
- Definition and continuous development of relevant technical guidelines, policies and internal standards
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud and Kubernetes engineering with proven track record of delivering complex and high-quality cloud solutions.
- At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing cloud engineering teams, with demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in one or more of the following cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proficient in Kubernetes and related technologies such as AKS, Tanzu or OpenShift
- Experience in cloud and Kubernetes automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience in cloud and Kubernetes security and compliance best practices
- Experience in cloud and Kubernetes monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
- Strong knowledge of cloud and Kubernetes networking and storage concepts and solutions
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong knowledge of cloud cost and resource optimization tools
- Certifications in cloud and Kubernetes are a plus
