Web Scraping Specialist - Build, Manage, and Maintain Advanced Scrapers

What You'll Do

This role goes beyond simple scraping. You’ll:

• Build stable, resilient scraping systems that don’t break
• Manage proxies, handle rate limits, and bypass anti-bot systems
• Scrape and analyze structured and unstructured data
• Extract trends and insights from sample sets (e.g. follower demographics, engagement metrics)
• Clean and normalize messy data for internal use and dashboards
• Build or support lightweight tools that make scraped data usable and actionable

Who You Are

We’re not looking for someone who just executes tasks. We want someone who thinks like a product owner, solves problems proactively, and isn’t afraid to push through when it counts.

We’ve worked with developers who noticed broken systems and walked past them. That’s not what we’re looking for. We want someone who sees an issue, understands it, and starts fixing it — with or without permission.

You take initiative. You work fast. You don’t need handholding.

You Should Be Comfortable With:

• Scraping social platforms, business databases, e-commerce and influencer platforms
• Handling login-protected, JS-rendered, or paginated content
• Working with messy or inconsistent data and turning it into something clean and usable
• Scaling scrapers and managing them over time
• Thinking through how scraped data powers actual product use cases (not just raw output)

We’d Love If You:

• Have used tools like Scrapy, Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, BeautifulSoup
• Know Python deeply and write modular, maintainable code
• Understand name parsing, gender/age inference, and demographic sampling techniques
• Have experience with proxy management, headless browsers, and scraper orchestration
• Have built systems that run 24/7 and are resilient to structural changes
