It can be a lot of fun trying some new things, for example those you’ve always wanted to do.
All that rush of adrenaline! The thrill of finally doing it! And, of course, the sense of achievement YOU feel at the end.
Today, running is virtually equal to exercise. If your goal is to be fit and healthy, then you’re named “a runner”. Running has become so popular, in some way, because a pile of evidence suggests it’s great for a long and disease-free life.
Muscles get stronger in this way. Moreover, one of the firmest beliefs of training is that when you do damage to muscle tissue, it’s stronger after its repair.
Hard running can, at first, result in increased levels of proteins, which are associated with heart damage. All these levels quite quickly return to normal, and the heart bounces back even stronger than before.
Moreover, when it comes to the office, having to do some new stuff for the first time could be the total opposite of that great feeling. This particularly happens if you are not well connected to your team members.
Is running just merely for colleagues to get to know each other better in a non-work setting? Or perhaps it is a great opportunity to build more trust and improve communication, so that the team will be able to better cooperate in a future project? Whatever the answer is, just start running!
Of course, do not forget that the most important member of your support team is you. Only you know about every aspect of your being, you just have to be open-minded and share your know-how.
Finally, with a dose of personal insight and the help of your team, you can optimize your overall performances.
