.NET Software Engineer

What are you going to work on:

Work with a professional team of software engineers supporting the operations of a successful hedge fund business. Work includes enhancing and expanding the home-grown portfolio management system as well as its pricing, analytics, and risk modules.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop scalable cross-platform back-end solutions
• Implement microservices
• Write clean and sustainable code
• Maintain existing code and improve performance
• Identify bugs and bottlenecks
• Conduct regular code reviews, share insightful feedback and guidance
• Collaborate with front-end developers

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in developing web-based software systems
• 3+ years of relevant software development experience with Microsoft .NET
• Experience with the latest versions of ASP.NET (Core) technologies
• Excellent foundation in OOP and design patterns
• Experience with relational databases (MSSQL Server)
• Experience with LINQ and ORMs (LINQ to SQL / Entity Framework)
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Experience with REST APIs and the ability to work with front-end developers to define an optimal interface
• Written and verbal English

Preferred qualifications:

• University degree in computer sciences or math
• Knowledge of back-end architectural principles
• Knowledge of front-end technologies
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud provider
• Working within a team environment, preferably using agile / Scrum methodologies
